The ADE team: gaining momentum
In Kuala Lumpur, our Account Development Executive (ADE) team has succeeded in reaching out and securing meetings with potential clients in a variety of international markets including Europe, the Gulf, and Southeast Asia. Not only are these companies geographically diverse, the industries range from healthcare services and supermarket chains to a leading global entertainment company.
The momentum is such that the team involved in these meetings is expanding as we explore opportunities for future collaboration in language and professional development training.
English Language Training Global Market Report
Some of the experiences of the ADE team may be explained in this report on the state of the English language training industry, which points to Asia-Pacific as the fastest growing region overall for English language training (including for children and general purposes).
The report, however, also identifies the growing demand for industry-specific English language as being driven by the reality of international teams needing to collaborate remotely:

Can we detect if a text was written by AI?
Speaking of AI: it’s not that AI writing is bad – it's that it’s inauthentic, repetitive and erodes trust.
If that sentence threw up your AI-detection sensors, this article addresses the “It’s not x, it’s y” formulation (and more) to ask if we can really detect if a text was written by AI. Unfortunately, this skepticism disproportionately impacts non-native speakers - even when machines are the ones doing the detecting:
A 2023 Stanford study found that seven popular AI detectors falsely identified an average of 61% of essays written by non-native English speakers as AI generated, with one tool flagging 97% of them.
